In the major and minor subject in Literary Studies, you will research several European and American literatures and relate them to each other. In addition, you will look at literature from a media studies perspective and in exchange with various media and artistic practices.
During your studies you will attend courses in media studies as well as film and television. You will explore the theoretical foundations and research subjects of literary studies.
You will acquire basic social and cultural skills as key qualifications for your professional activity. These include creativity, judgement, the ability to grasp structural problems as well as intercultural skills and knowledge of several foreign languages.
