Information on Registering for Language Courses in Summer Semester 2025
The first phase of registration will take place from 17/03/2025, 10:00 to 04/04/2025, 18:00.
For courses with free places, a second registration phase will take place from 11/04/2025, 16:00 to 13/04/2025, 18:00 .
Registration for the language courses takes place exclusively via Moodle,registrations by e-mail will not be considered.
If there are still courses with free places after the first enrolment phase, you can also go to the first session of the respective course and ask the teacher about available remaining places.
Please note: Enrolment in Moodle does not mean final admission to the course. The respective teacher decides on final admission to the course. It is essential that you attend the first course session, otherwise you will lose your place on the language course !
There are special rules for the Speech Training, English and German as a Foreign Language (DaF) courses. You can find the information for these languages on the respective homepage under "News".
Guest auditor status is only possible for lectures, but not for language courses.
We are a central institution that supports you in learning 14 different foreign languages and German sign language. We also offer courses in speech training, organise interesting StuFus and offer numerous additional activities for students and employees.
Our newsletter <sprachbo(o)te> informs you twice a year about news, projects and events, trainings and conferences, staff and amusing facts from the language courses.
We support the philologies with cultural and language practice courses.
We offer language courses for students of all faculties.
We advise on issues relating to the recognition of international certificates or achievements from semesters abroad. Further information can be found here.
We organise language courses for employees.
We offer speech training programmes for all students and especially for students in the teachers' training programmes.
We connect students of different nationalities in tandem programmes and writing workshops. Further information can be found here
We enrich cultural life at the university through music events and contributions to diversity and interculturality.
