Exchange places at universities in Asia and Africa

The number of available exchange places is renegotiated every year and depends on the number of students coming to the University of erfurt from our partner institutions abroad. If not indicated otherwise, one to two places are available per exchange programme. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic there had been numerous cancellations by partner universities, resulting in a reduction the exchange numbers. The exchange places listed should therefore be regarded as provisional, as they still require confirmation from the partner universities.

The following applies to all exchange programmes:

As part of the partnership agreement, tuition and enrolment fees are waived. However, small fees, e.g. for the use of the partner university’s facilities, may apply. The costs for travel, accommodation, meals, health insurance, books as well as teaching materials and leisure activities have to be paid by the programme participants themselves. We advise you to carry out detailed research about the cost of living in the host county as well as their visa requirements.
