event as part of the joint lecture series organised by the city of Erfurt and Erfurt's universities in the summer semester of 2025

AI processes are used in almost all economic and social areas – and this also applies to historical studies. But can we really gain new insights into the past by using AI? How will it change the way we work as scholars – searching for information, evaluating and interpreting sources, and analysing them? What ethical questions arise and what are the limits to practical implementation? These and other questions will be addressed in the lecture by Professor Anna Neovesky, which marks the end of the lecture series for the summer semester.

The other dates of the AI lecture series in the summer semester can be found on our event poster (in German only).
