Margrit Elsner

After studying sociology and political science at FSU Jena, Margrit Elsner worked at the Department of Sociology at FSU Jena from 2007-2016 in various areas of science management, including as administrative manager of the institute, study program coordinator, and project coordinator in various externally funded projects. In addition, she worked as a project coordinator at the Department of Geography, Chair of Social Geography at FSU Jena from 2012-2015. Since 2016, she is working in the field of Research Advisory Service and as an EU Liaison Officer in the Research and Graduate Service at the University of Erfurt, where she became head of the unit in April 2022. In the context of a secondment to the Thuringian Ministry of Science in 2019, she has also gained experience in the area of state university policy.
