Franziska Schedewie is a research associate in the DFG's Heisenberg Programme. She completed her doctorate in Eastern European history at the University of Heidelberg in 2004 and habilitated at the University of Jena in 2013 on the topic: Die Bühne Europas. Russian diplomacy and German policy in Weimar, 1798-1819.
