The thematic focus here is on dealing with teaching disruptions and creating immersive and authentic teaching simulations in which student teachers can interact with virtual pupils in the form of 3D bots in a protected environment.
The exercise scenarios are to be practically tested and further developed with students as a situated learning component and evaluated as innovative tools for the training of prospective teachers. Against the background of an examination of digitalisation and mediatisation in educational institutions, the project aims to enable prospective teachers to act competently with media, to reduce reservations about the use of media through positive experiences and the experience of competence and to explore the possibilities and limits of immersive learning environments in teacher training. The focus is on reflecting on pedagogical thinking and action with the help of digital tools.
