Funding after the Doctorate
After their doctorate many scientists are faced with the decision of whether they want to remain in the research field or rather aiming for a career outside of academics. In that respect, the University of Erfurt offers consulting services as part of the coaching by its ‚Academic Skills Training‘.
The funding of scientists in their postdoctoral phase, who are striving for a career in the research field is usually achieved by an appointment as a research assistant at a university or non-university research institution, by a scholarship or by financing their own position through third-party funds, they have acquired themselves from external funding institutions. The service of the application advice can be used for this purpose.
