Educational Science students receive certificates

True to the motto "When it's at its best, you should ... Give out certificates!" 4 Master's students in Educational Science received their certificates of participation yesterday after completing their course "Social Entrepreneurship & Education - Understanding educational work as a driver for social change" in winter semester 2024/2025.

As part of the seminar, the dedicated Educational Science students (Master's) worked on a challenge from the practice partner and independent school provider Evangelische Schulstiftung Mitteldeutschland St. Johannes with the support of the Founders Service and presented their innovative solutions to representatives of the challenge provider on 23 January 2025. Yesterday, they received their certificates of participation, issued by the school foundation and the Founders Service of the University of Erfurt, as proof of their achievement in the course of the programme.

In the course, which consisted of seven modules, the participants were familiarised with the topics of social innovation and social entrepreneurship in the context of educational work. With the help of various methods and instruments that are used to develop, visualise and "test" socially oriented business/project ideas, the most important elements for a promising model project were explained in more detail and subsequently applied in a team using a suitable "case".

The Founders Service wishes you every success for the upcoming exam!
