Rüm hart – klaar kiming!

"To be honest, I don't even know what it feels like yet," says Gerd Mannhaupt. "My departure doesn't come as a surprise and has been prepared for a long time. That makes it easy for me. But not with everything and everyone either..."

It's his last day on campus. The office is almost empty, his personal belongings stowed away in the car. The Professor, Director of the Erfurt School of Education, Vice President for Academic Affairs, colleague and friend, takes one last round. And says goodbye after 22 years. But not without stopping by University Communications again, which had asked him for a farewell interview...
