About the event

In the course of the digital transformation, the role of digital media in university didactics is increasingly coming into focus. From multimedia presentations and interactive learning platforms with online collaboration tools to technology for hybrid settings: the diversity of digital media offers numerous opportunities to enrich the teaching and learning process at universities. This workshop serves as an introduction to media-related university didactics and is aimed at lecturers from all subject areas. No prior knowledge is required.

In the first part of the workshop, we will work on the theoretical foundations of media didactics in the university context and deal with the central legal framework. In the second part, we will gain an overview of the concrete media technology possibilities at the University of Erfurt, take a closer look at selected tools and try out some of them in practice.
