New blog post of the Gotha Research Library: "He lives and reigns until here". On the family album of Duke Johann Casimir of Saxe-Coburg (1564-1633)

The Ernestine residences of Gotha and Coburg have always been closely linked historically. These interconnections can still be discovered today in the respective collections. For example, the work of Johann Casimir, Duke of Saxe-Coburg (1564-1633), is also tangible in today's Gotha Research Library. Among other things, the duke's family album, which has been preserved in the library, bears witness to this.
