Born in 1989, she has been a member of the Bundestag since 2014. Her political work focuses on digitalisation and the use of artificial intelligence (AI). She is now also contributing her experience as chairwoman of the Bundestag's "Artificial Intelligence" Enquete Commission to the parliament's digital committee. Since this year, she has also headed the new CDU expert commission "Humane Digitalisation".
Consciously utilising the benefits of IT and AI without allowing uncontrolled growth and misuse – this is how Kemmer's attitude towards new digital applications could be summarised. On the one hand, she is in favour of more digital offices to make it easier for citizens to deal with the authorities. She talks to young people about social networks such as Tiktok & Co. She says that the right course needs to be set for AI. Over-regulation must be avoided at all costs. She will be talking about this and more at the lecture series on 4 December.
Admission to the event is free. However, registration is requested at www.thueringer-allgemeine.de/ringvorlesung.
