Conspiratorial flats were important places for the state security, which were indispensable for the implementation and maintenance of surveillance practices in the GDR. In the city of Erfurt alone there were around 500 such flats. The research project "Meeting Places of the MfS and Places of Dissidence in Erfurt" examines their genesis, selection and progress from an urban perspective. Marian Herzog and Isabelle Lamperti, student assistants in the project, will present the research project and initial results on 10 December. Afterwards, the participants will have the opportunity to discuss further questions, perspectives and limits in the further processing of the research topic.
The colloquium will take place digitally via the Cisco Webex platform (meeting room: ttps://uni-erfurt.webex.com/meet/DuT.Erfurt) The meeting room will be opened 15 minutes before the start of each event. No registration is necessary, you can join the meeting directly via your browser. B For further information on access or help please contact: dut.info@uni-erfurt.de.
