Framework regulations for the Erfurt Doctorate and Postdoctoral Programme

The Erfurt Doctoral and Postdoctoral Programme (EPPP) forms the constitutional framework for structured doctorates and habilitations at the University of Erfurt. As part of this programme, the university supports its researchers in the qualification phase both ideally and financially and at the same time ensures a high quality of education.

On 1 June 2024, a framework regulation for the EPPP (EPPP-RO) came into force, which consistently bundles the previous requirements and has further expanded the structured academic qualification phase for doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers at the University of Erfurt by bindingly establishing the rights of EPPP members, expanding opportunities for full membership and enabling postdoctoral researchers to access research-related travelling and material expenses. The EPPP-RO can be found on the University of Erfurt website.
