The programme can be found on the website of the Diversity Network of Universities. It starts on Thursday, 16 May at 1 pm with a digital opening lecture. Sabine Hark from TU Berlin and Johanna Hofbauer from Vienna University of Economics and Business will speak about "Die ungleiche Universität. Diversität, Exzellenz und Anti-Diskriminierung" (The unequal university. Diversity, excellence and anti-discrimination). The President of the University of Erfurt, Professor Walter Bauer-Wabnegg, will open the event with a welcoming address on behalf of the Conference of Thuringia's Universities Presidents (TLPK).
As part of the Diversity Days, the University of Erfurt will also be offering an event for its academic support staff on 28 May on the topic of "Thinking administration in human terms". As a visible sign of diversity and tolerance on campus, the University of Erfurt's diversity day will be marked by a rainbow flag. Other interested members of the university can take part in a rainbow chalk campaign in the entrance area of the campus on Friday, 17 May, the International Day against Homophobia, Biophobia, Inter- and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). The meeting point is at 9am at the police station.
