Amro Mounir is a historian and specialist in the history of Egypt. He teaches at the South Valley University in Qena, Egypt. He also specialises in Arab subculture and has mastered the Arts of traditional storytelling.

Claudia Ott is a translator and musician and is known to a wide audience throughout the German-speaking world for her award-winning new translation of the classic tale "One Thousand and One Nights".
