The workshop enables an intensive examination of all topics and questions that are relevant for the conscious and constructive handling of power and micro-politics in the university context. This also includes reflecting on and transferring the workshop findings to one's own role and role constellations in order to identify and expand one's own room for manoeuvre and opportunities for self-efficacy.
Topics:
The following questions, among others, should be answered by the participants What power am I exposed to, what power resources do I have? How can I take a micro-political and constructive power-conscious approach to achieve individual and collective goals? How can I defend myself against power rhetoric, what strategies should I be able to use?
Reflection on all topics, taking into account gender issues and topics as well as diversity perspectives, is a natural part of the workshop and the individual focal points are dealt with in close consultation with the participants. The event is framed by a systemic approach and reflection on the issues associated with the topic. Participants will receive comprehensive working materials to prepare for and/or follow up on the workshop.
Methods:
Keynote speeches by the trainer, group and individual work, discussion and reflection in plenary, role plays and use of peer counselling methods where appropriate
