Information from the organiser

South Asian Raga music is an ancient art form that has evolved through centuries of change and shifting focus. Yet, it has preserved its timeless essence, bridging the ancient past with the present. Matyas and Balázs are among the rare European practitioners of this intricate art form. Having studied for many years under renowned masters in India, they stand out as both virtuoso performers and dedicated researchers of these traditions.

The concert program highlights the rich diversity of the music across the ages. Experience their captivating recital and discuss with the musicians on this profound musical heritage.
