Third event in the "Monday Lectures" series in the winter semester 2024/25, jointly organised by the Max-Weber-Kolleg, the Department of Religious Studies and the Theological Research Centre t³ Theology - Tradition - Transformation.

About the event

Human life is fragmentary - in theology this is also called fragmentarity. In this lecture, the concept of the fragment will be theologically rethought: What remains of religious communities? Can we actively shape remembrance now? Is this even relevant in view of declining membership numbers and current crises such as the climate catastrophe?
With impulses from archival studies and cultural studies of waste, fragmentation becomes a topic of theological research into hope and the future.

This event from the Monday Lecture series is organised by the Theological Research Centre t³ Theology - Tradition - Transformation.

All interested parties are cordially invited. Registration is not required.
