Offer description

In addition to the existing workshops offered by the Academic Skills Training, you have the opportunity to register for the TwentyOne Skills digital learning platform.
The English-language programme (videos with German subtitles) is specially designed for early career researchers and is therefore tailored to their professional qualification needs.

Participants can take part in online courses for six months, regardless of time and place, and thus expand their key skills.
The learning platform comprises over 70 courses from 7 topic clusters, such as communication & presentation, scientific practice or career planning.

The eLearning courses are offered in two formats:

  • Deep Dive courses take 2-3 hours to complete.
The topic of the course is presented in detail. This more comprehensive format is ideal for researchers who want to familiarise themselves independently with new concepts and skills.
  • The nuggets focus on teaching a specific technique or method that can be applied to the user's research and/or other projects. The learning time here is around 20 minutes.

In addition, there are weekly live events (55 minutes) in which participants have the opportunity to exchange ideas. In dialogue with the trainers, users also receive concrete support for the application of specific methods in their research project and can ask questions about the course content. The topics range from careers and mental health to scientific presentations.
The live events will be recorded so that they can be watched at any time.

After the end of the registration period, your e-mail address will be forwarded to TwentyOne Skills.
You will receive access to the platform from TwentyOne Skills by 1 March 2025 at the latest.
