The author
Julia Knop has been a professor of dogmatics at the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Erfurt since 2017. She is a member of the Central Committee of German Catholics and the plenary assembly of the synodal path and the synodal forum ‘Power and Separation of Powers’.

The illustrator
Meike Töpperwien studied design at the University of Arts in Braunschweig. She lives there with her family and works as an illustrator and graphic designer for various publishers, journals and cultural institutions.
