"Digital innovations" wanted: apply now until 29 September 2024

The "Start-up Competition - Digital Innovations" is an ideas competition organised by the BMWK. Interested start-ups from all over Germany can submit a sketch of their digital business idea to the two annual competition rounds and apply for the award. There is prize money of up to 32,000 euros, attractive networking opportunities and the chance to win the focus prize (endowed with 10,000 euros), which changes thematically with each round of the competition and is themed "Innovative AI" this year.

The "Start-up Competition - Digital Innovations" organised by the Federal Ministryfor Economic Affairs and Climate Protection(BMWK) is aimed at people interested in setting up a business and young start-ups with innovative digital business ideas.

Is your start-up project synonymous with digitality and innovation? Then apply now until 29 September 2024 for the 2025 winter round of the "Start-up Competition - Digital Innovations".

The ideas competition supports start-ups in the early founding phase with prize money of up to 32,000 euros, individual #SWOT analyses, expert #coaching and much more.

And the best thing about it: an idea sketch is all you need to apply.

Requirements - Who can take part?

  • Individuals or teams with residence and future company headquarters in Germany
  • A corporation (UG, GmbH or AG) may (but does not have to) already exist on the basis of the submitted business idea
  • The corporation may not be older than six calendar months (from the date of entry in the commercial register to the start date of the competition round)
  • Applications can be submitted up to three times (provided no previous award has been made)
