Thuringia has the choice!

A new state parliament will be elected in Thuringia on 1 September. Is the Free State on its way out of minority government and back into governability? Which party constellations are conceivable and which are even possible? Where is the state heading and what issues do the parties want to score points with in the election campaign? And last but not least: What does the result of this election mean for the federal government?

In our research blog "WortMelder", we asked André Brodocz, Professor of Political Theory at the University of Erfurt, for his views. In a loose series, he writes about the election, which could change many things in the Free State of Thuringia.
