Speakers from various areas of society will give keynote speeches. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to discuss the talks over a glass of wine in the cloisters of Erfurt Cathedral. The event starts at 7.30 pm. Admission is free.
Biologist and economist Dr Stefan Einsiedel will kick off the event with a lecture entitled "We in times of climate crisis and transformation". On the second evening, Joachim Frank, Chief Correspondent of the DuMont Media Group and Chairman of the Society of Catholic Journalists in Germany, will discuss "Journalism in times of fake news and artificial intelligence". Professor Saskia Nagel's final lecture will be dedicated to "People in times of self-optimisation and the pressure to improve". Professor Nagel is head of the Applied Ethics teaching and research area in the Department of Society, Technology and Human Factors at the Faculty of Philosophy at RWTH Aachen University.
