Angelique Pohl was the first student teacher to successfully complete the media education concentration for prospective teachers at the University of Erfurt.

With this media pedagogical focus, the competence network digital subject-related teacher education, a QUALITEACH subproject at the University of Erfurt, pursues the goal of implementing media pedagogical content in teacher education and thus promoting the media pedagogical competence of students. In the course of a pilot phase, this study-integrated offer, consisting of inventory teaching and specially designed courses, was tested with student teachers. Angelique Pohl is the first student to successfully participate in this program during her Bachelor's degree in Primary Elementary Education. Professor Sven Jöckel, one of the heads of the subproject, is optimistic: "We are very pleased that Angelique Pohl is now the first student to complete our programme - but from the pilot phase and from new registrations in the current semester, there are already 20 more participants who will hopefully follow her soon."

The project team warmly congratulates Angelique Pohl on her successful participation and thanks all cooperating individuals and subject areas for their support during the pilot phase. After this successful start, the media pedagogical focus is now to be sustainably integrated as an offering in the university's teaching-related degree programs.
