Scholarships for junior research projects on the topic of "Voluntariness"

The research group "Voluntariness" at the University of Erfurt is now supporting early-stage research projects in the field of voluntariness with two special scholarships: Advanced early-stage researchers (postdocs) can apply for an "initialization scholarship on voluntariness" or a "career advancement scholarship on voluntariness" at the University of Erfurt.

The funding relates both to the initiation of third-party funded projects after the doctorate (initialization scholarship) and to the support of early-stage researchers on their career path to a professorship (career support scholarship).

Background

The research group is concerned with voluntariness as a political practice in history and the present. The basic assumption of their research is that diverse types of voluntariness are of central importance for the governance of different societies. Since October 2020, the research group "Voluntariness" has been funded by the DFG.
