Research Data Management Days: "Infrastructure creates data structure"

The Thuringian Research Data Management Days will take place this year from 21 to 26 June in Erfurt, Weimar Ilmenau and Jena. "Infrastructure creates data structure" - this is the title of the opening event to which the University of Erfurt cordially invites all interested parties on 21 June.

The event will also take place digitally this year. It will begin at 2 p.m. with a welcoming address by the Vice President for Research and Promotion of Young Academics, Prof. Dr. Benedikt Kranemann. Afterwards, the focus will be on which infrastructures can support researchers in creating good data documentation. We are looking forward to two exciting presentations - one by Paul Vierkant (ORCID DE) on Persistent Identifiers and one by Dr. Thomas Lauer from the Erfurt Laboratory for Empirical Research (ErfurtLab), who will talk about "Generic Research Processes in the Behavioural Sciences".

This year's FAIRest Dataset Award will also be presented during the event.
