Elections will take place online again in 2021

In view of the current situation in connection with the Corona crisis and the planning of the summer semester as a digital semester, the Presidium, in consultation with the Electoral Board, has decided to hold the committee elections at the University of Erfurt in 2021 once again as an online election in cooperation with the provider POLYAS GmbH.

They are to take place between 14.6.2021 (12 noon) and 25.6.2021 (12 noon).

Last year, online elections were held at the University of Erfurt for the first time. Voter turnout actually increased compared to 2019. At the same time, it was possible to save on personnel resources, so that the majority of the electoral board voted in favour of holding future elections online, regardless of the pandemic situation.
