Photovoltaic system for teaching building C03: Construction work will begin in March

Firstly, scaffolding will be erected on the north and west sides of the building before work begins on the roof. Another electrical cable will be laid in the building as part of the construction work. The entrances to the building can be used despite the construction work. However, please keep the areas around the building clear so as not to obstruct the work.

With the new photovoltaic system, the University of Erfurt is taking a further step towards a more sustainable campus. The exterior façade of the high-rise building (C23) was already renovated in 2010. As part of this, the first photovoltaic system was installed on the façade, which has been in operation since 23 December 2010. There is now also such a system on the roof of the Centre for Communication and Information. Another one is planned for the sports hall, which is currently being renovated.
