The programme of the two universities includes (virtual) guided tours of the campus, but there will also be lectures about studying. Lecturers will give sample lectures, and there will be plenty of hands-on activities on the programme. The student advice and counselling services and student campus specialists of the universities will be on hand to answer questions - at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt live on site and at the University in a chat as well as in short Q&A clips. The Thuringian Student Services Organisation (Studierendenwerk) is also taking part in the Open Day and will be offering advice on everything to do with housing and student finance. To get to know Erfurt as a place to study in all its diversity, the programme is rounded off with a free guided tour of the city by Erfurt Tourismus- und Marketing GmbH.
Under the motto „Zukunftsperspektiven“, prospective students and their accompanying family members, as well as students and graduates, will be given an all-round view of studies, entry and career opportunities at the careers fair within the HIT.
Those interested in studying at the university can also use the online tool „STUDIMAT“ to combine the subjects they are interested in with just a few clicks and receive all the necessary information on the course of study, admission requirements, course content as well as tips from graduates who have already successfully completed their studies.
The universities provide information about the exact programme on their joint Open Day website at www.hit-erfurt.de.
