Summer School for prospective teachers

The Erfurt School of Education at the University of Erfurt is organising a media education summer school on the topic of "Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning with and via Digital Media" from 21 to 24 September 2021. All prospective teachers are invited.

Teaching with and via digital media will be one of the core tasks for future teachers. The Summer School "Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning with and about Digital Media" offers the opportunity to lay the foundation for later competent media pedagogical action. Following the Summer School, those interested can also participate in the media pedagogical focus.

Introduction to the Summer School

Flexible phase: Working through the self-study courses
1st self-study course: Introduction to media education (approx. 1 hour)
2nd self-study course: Introduction to media education (approx. 1.5 hrs.)
3. self-study course: introduction to general media didactics part 1 (approx. 1,5 hrs.)
4. self-study course: introduction to general media didactics part 2 (approx. 1 h)
5. self-study course: introduction to media-related school development (approx. 1 hr.)

Final discussion on the contents of the self-study courses

The Summer School will take place completely digitally (Moodle and Webex) and therefore allows for flexible scheduling. Registration is by e-mail to: kdfl@uni-erfurt.de.
The event is offered by the sub-project "Kompetenzzentrum digitale fachbezogene Lehrer*innenbildung" (Competence Centre for Digital Subject-Related Teacher Education) of the BMBF-funded project "QUALITeach" at the University of Erfurt.
