Register now: Children's University Erfurt starts again

Watch out, kids:: On 19 October, the Children's University Erfurt starts a new round. Then children from Erfurt and the surrounding area can once again become real students. The Children's University invites them to sit in real lecture halls like the "grown-ups" and ask the university lecturers questions. The programme has just been published and registration is now open.

At the HELIOS Clinic, the University of Erfurt and the University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt, new exciting topics await the children: for example, they can look behind the secrets of the "Seven Wonders of the World", find out how the first books were created and what the medieval monks had to do with it. At the Helios Clinic there is a real ambulance to marvel at, and visitors can take a look inside the human body using ultrasound. There are also tips on what to do against nasty cyber-bullying. And if you want to find out what phytohormones are, how plants actually grow or how woodpeckers build homes for themselves and their new tenants in the forest, the Children's University is also the right place for you.

Whether 5 or 15 years old – the events are made for different age groups, participation is free of charge. Detailed information on the individual events and registration can be found on the Children's University website at www.kinderuni-erfurt.de. If you want to make sure you don't miss any news, you can also sign up for the "Schlaufuchs" newsletter at the e-mail address katrin.apitius@helios-gesundheit.de. In addition to the current programme, you will also find information about the modalities of the Children's University. Children can participate individually or with their entire school class. However, registration is required in any case.
