Online self-study course for switching to Windows 11

Microsoft is only offering updates for the Windows 10 operating system, which is currently used on most computers at the University of Erfurt, until October 2025. This would pose a security risk if it continued to be used. Against this background, it is necessary to switch the workstation systems at the University of Erfurt to the Windows 11 version. The University Computer and Media Center is providing an online self-study course via the company "So geht's GmbH" for switching from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

If you would like to take advantage of this course, you can register at https://terminplaner6.dfn.de/b/3201a529474af5c374f7c3ca4c8348f4-722881.

The University Computer and Media Centre would also like to remind you once again of the training courses in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe (Photoshop, Premiere) that will be offered in September (39th calendar week) for employees and auxiliary staff at the University of Erfurt. Registrations are still possible until 22 July 2024. You can find the complete training overview and book your place at https://terminplaner6.dfn.de/b/ed06cc0ac31df6a4fb8bdc8efa72ec31-722667
