"Digitalization and the Welfare State" is the first comprehensive analysis of the impact of digitalization on welfare states, written by internationally renowned welfare-state scholars. The book uses a mixture of different approaches (individual-, meso- and macro-level analysis) as well as different methods (research on attitudes, content analysis, and comparative cases studies) and offers an overview of policy changes in a broad range of policy areas.
The book was edited by Marius R. Busemeyer, Achim Kemmerling, Kees van Kersbergen and Paul Marx and will be discussed by Aina Gallego (Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Barcelona and a Research Associate at Institut de Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals and the Institute of Political Economy and Governance) and David Rueda (Professor of copmparative politics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. His research focuses on comparative political economy, the welfare state and labour market policy) at the Online Book Launch Workshop.
