New handout on dealing with generative AI

The University of Erfurt is providing its teaching staff with a new handout on dealing with generative artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and examinations. It was developed in collaboration between the then Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Gerd Mannhaupt, and the IT Commission and was also discussed in the Academic Affairs Committee and the Senate.

The handout is intended to help advance AI competences in teaching and learning through the use of various materials, results and accompanying workshops. You can download the handout from our website (in German only). Under the leadership of the new Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Julia Knop, a further handout is now to be produced – this will then be aimed at students.
