Mental stress in the workplace

The University of Erfurt is concerned with the safe and healthy design of working conditions as part of the university health management. In the past few years, concrete health offers have already been created for this purpose. Now impulses are to be collected for further measures.

This will be done as part of the consideration of mental stress in a risk assessment, which is required under § 5 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. All employees are to assess their working conditions with regard to their health-promoting or health-limiting effect. This includes, for example, work organisation, work environment, work content and tasks, as well as social factors.

The assessment is carried out in all areas of activity and in all teams. We need your support for the collection of the impulses and also for the development of options for action and implementation.

As a first step, we would like to ask you to participate in an anonymous survey on the topic of "Healthy working at the University of Erfurt" in May 2021. We are interested in your opinion: Which working conditions are already well designed? & In which areas do you see a need for action? The results of the survey will be incorporated into further work. In the first step, we only need 10 to 15 minutes of your time to answer a questionnaire. The link to the online survey will be sent to you in May.

In the second step, concrete measures to improve working conditions with regard to mental stress will be developed and implemented in accordance with the survey results.

Your participation in the survey will help the University Health Management to make the working conditions at the University of Erfurt as health-promoting as possible.
