Menschen in Zeiten von Selbstoptimierung und Verbesserungszwang

Climate crisis, artificial intelligence, wars, political extremism and fake news - these are topics that many people associate with great fears. However, there are also some developments that allow us to look to the future with hope. This tension between fear and hope is the focus of this year's Kreuzganggespräche, to which the Catholic Forum in Thuringia and the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Erfurt cordially invite all interested parties.

Speakers from various areas of society will give keynote speeches. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to discuss the lectures over a glass of wine in the cloisters of Erfurt Cathedral. The event starts at 7.30 pm. Admission is free.

• 19 June: Menschen in Zeiten von Selbstoptimierung und Verbesserungszwang (Professor Saskia Nagel, Head of the Applied Ethics teaching and research area in the Society, Technology and Human Factors department of the Faculty of Philosophy at RWTH Aachen University)
