Heterogeneity, inclusion and differentiation are central concepts in the teacher training programme. Teachers are prepared to respond to pupils individually and recognise diversity. But is that enough? We ask: What does it mean to teach in multicultural classes? What skills does a teacher need to meet today's challenges? How has teaching changed as a result of immigration? What educational policy plans are there to internationalise teacher training? The critical teaching profession invites four experts to shed light on these controversial questions.
