Closing times of the service facilities over the turn of the year 2024/25

The service facilities at the University of Erfurt have changed opening hours during the public holidays and some will be completely closed at the turn of the year. Please take note of this.

Erfurt University Library
The University Library will be closed from 22 December 2024 up to and including 1 January 2025.

Gotha Research Library / Perthes Collection
The Gotha Research Library – as well as the Gotha Perthes Collection in Perthes Forum – will be closed from 21 December 2024 to 1 January 2025 inclusive.

Language Centre
The Service Desk (LG1/338 ) will be closed from 21 December 2024 up to and including 5 January 2025.

Department 1: Registrar's Office
The Department 1: Registrar's Office will be closed from 21 December 2024 until 5 January 2025. Office hours will be cancelled. You can reach the Registrar's Office again by phone from 2 January at 0361/737-5100 – Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11.15 a.m. and from 12 to 3 p.m., and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

University Computer and Media Centre (URMZ)
On 23 December 2024 and 2 January 2025, the service hotline (-5454) is available from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 to 4 p.m. The service desk will be open on 2 January from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. On 3 January, the service desk will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. and the service hotline will be available from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The University Computer and Media Centre (URMZ), including the service desk, service telephone and Thoska office, will be closed from 24 December 2024 to 1 January 2025 inclusive. The media technology department will not be staffed from 21 December 2024 to 5 January 2025 inclusive.

The central post office will be closed from 23 December 2024 up to and including 1 January 2025.

The central cash desk will be closed from 20 December 2024 up to and including 2 January 2025.

  • The cafeteria will be closed from 21.12.24 to 05.01.25 inclusive.
  • The "Glasbox" will be closed from 21.12.24 to 05.01.25 inclusive.
  • The café "Hörsaal 7" will be closed from 21.12.24 to 05.01.25 inclusive.
  • The BAföG service office will be closed from 21.12.24 to 01.01.25 inclusive.
  • The General Social Counselling Service will be closed from 21.12.24 to 01.01.25 inclusive.
  • The Psychosocial Counselling Service will be closed from 21.12.24 to 02.01.25 inclusive.
  • The "Campus-Kinderland" daycare centre will be closed from 21.12.24 to 05.01.25 inclusive.
  • The flexible childcare centre "Räuberhöhle" will be closed from 21.12.24 to 05.01.25 inclusive.
  • The Infopoint will be closed from 21.12.24 to 01.01.24 inclusive.
