City Cycling Campaign: University of Erfurt is taking part!

This year's "Cycle to Work" campaign organised by the AOK and ADFC, in which the University of Erfurt also took part, ended on 31 August. With 238 days and 1717 kilometres, the "University of Erfurt 2" team came 63rd in the ranking of the 678 participants. Team "University of Erfurt 1", in 272nd place, had even more kilometres, but the four participants only used the bike on 149 days.

A new round begins in September. From 5 to 25 September, it's "City Cycling for a Climate-friendly City Centre". The kick-off tour starts on 5 September at 5 pm on the Domplatz. City cycling ("Stadtradeln") is a competition in which the aim is to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for 21 days. It doesn't matter whether the participants already cycle every day or have rarely cycled so far. Every kilometre counts. If you would like to support the "University of Erfurt Team", you can find more information here: www.stadtradeln.de/erfurt.
