In the Centre for Communication and Information (KIZ) on campus, there will be a variety of offers on cardiovascular health and first aid for cardiovascular problems. For example, employees of the German Red Cross will demonstrate how to correctly perform lateral recuperation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and helmet removal in the event of an accident. Visitors will be able to test their heart health with preventive services such as the "Cardio Check" of AOK PLUS, the "HKL Check" of Debeka or the "Carotis Screening" of BARMER. In addition, there will again be general health information and some exercise offers. The health and substitute insurance companies and other health actors will participate with attractive action booths. The Studierendenwerk, the educational garden and the sports students will again provide healthy catering on site.
At 9 a.m., the Vice President for International Affairs, Professor Beate Hampe, and the world champion in racing sleds, Max Langhan, will jointly open the Health Day. The HELIOS Klinikum Erfurt will support the University's Health Day with a short lecture on the topic.
