After the removal of most Corona restrictions: What applies from Monday?

For the start of the 2022 summer semester, the Vice President for Student Affairs, together with Department 1: Registrars' Office, has created a guide that provides information on how teaching will take place at the University of Erfurt from 4 April.

According to these guidelines, courses will once again be held in attendance from Monday, 4 April. Due to numerous enquiries, Department 1 would like to point out once again that both variants - presence and remote - are shown in the course catalogue, but remote (marked red) only in the event that the pandemic situation would make a return to online teaching necessary. This would then be communicated again specifically if necessary.

Since the Corona Protection Ordinance of the state of Thuringia currently no longer provides for specific regulations for the universities, there is no longer a "3G" regulation for access to face-to-face teaching. This also means that the test obligation as an admission requirement for unvaccinated persons no longer applies.

Nevertheless, in the infection protection concept of the University of Erfurt, the requirement to wear masks in the rooms of the University of Erfurt is maintained as a measure to reduce the risk of infection. This does not apply to people who play an active role as speakers at the event. And, of course, the existing hygiene regulations are to continue to be observed.

With the discontinuation of the "3G" regulation, the access controls in the cafeteria and the possibilities for contact tracking by the Student Services Organisation (Studierendenwerk) will also be discontinued. Attendance documentation in teaching events will also be suspended until further notice.

The flexible childcare "Räuberhöhle" will reopen on Monday.

Please note that the Corona registration form for students has also been changed. You can find it for download on our Corona info page or here:
