Successful academic presentations in English generate interest in your work, help you to network with colleagues and boost your professional profile. In this interactive workshop you will get first-hand experience in mastering the challenges of presenting your research in English, and develop strategies for self-confident, competent and successful research presentations.

We will first focus on your profiles (personality, presentation style) and will then turn to the building-blocks of a presentation: verbal codes (academic diction, professional jargon), body language, voice, media and performance. We will, of course, put theory into practice and give you the chance to deliver a short presentation, which we will then discuss together. You can work on current projects, talks and presentations!
