Information from the organiser:
Three years ago, Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz proclaimed a "turning point" - in response to Russia's attack on Ukraine, which violated international law. This war marked the end of a rules-based security order and poses new challenges for democracies worldwide. At the same time, global conflicts are intensifying due to climate change and growing migration pressure.
The German government has set the initial course with a national security strategy and a special fund of 100 billion euros for the Bundeswehr. But what about the security of Germany and Europe? What impact is this turning point having on our society and the Bundeswehr? And where is further action needed?
We would like to discuss these questions with experts and take stock. We cordially invite you to join us in the discussion!
