About
As the completion of the doctorate approaches, it is important to take a deep breath and clear the last hurdles out of the way. However, general tips often don't help. For this reason, this workshop aims to recognize and address the individuality of the challenges that arise. Accordingly, in addition to some general tips for efficient completion, there will be plenty of room for questions, background information and personalized offers of support. From difficulties in writing the dissertation to organizational and communication problems of all kinds to the search for a direction for the further career, all possible topics can be dealt with. In a structured process, personal challenges are identified, scrutinized and dealt with in the best possible way. Input from the instructor and tips from other participants provide support and help participants to gain clarity for themselves and make the best possible use of their own strengths. Everyone develops a plan for their own final doctoral spurt.
The following points are covered:
- Overview: What do you need to have in mind at the end of your doctorate?
- Focus: What exactly are the obstacles that still stand in my way? What do I want to have achieved at the end of the day?
- Analysis: What is behind the challenge I am facing? What are the specific difficulties and opportunities?
- Planning: Where do I want to go? What are the next concrete steps?
