Founders Service hands out first StarTH scholarship

As part of the "Funding programme to support start-up ideas at Thuringian universities through the Thuringian University Start-up Network (StarTH) in 2024 and 2025" approved by the TMWWDG, the University of Erfurt's Founders Service was able to award a StarTH scholarship of 6,000 euros to a prospective founder at our university for the first time.

In 2024, the Thuringian university start-up network "StarTH" and its 8 member universities succeeded in acquiring additional funding from the TMWWDG to support the start-up efforts of students and employees for the years 2024 and 2025. Among other things, these funds are intended to support founders from Thuringian universities in taking their start-up ideas to a new level by means of a start-up scholarship. The aim of the scholarship is to prepare a start-up or to apply for further funding programmes such as the Thuringian start-up bonus or the EXIST start-up grant.

With the first grant awarded to Ms Nele Schöfisch (M.Sc. Psychology), we would like to provide her with the best possible support on her path to self-employment and stand by her side as an advisory network throughout the entire funding period.
