We would like to introduce our committees and their representatives at irregular intervals. Today: the Faculty Council. And to get you in the mood, we wanted to know: What form of faculty council is there? a, the permanent faculty council; b, the extended faculty council; c, the large faculty council or d, all three?

Adjunct Professor Dr Matthias Vonken is Head of the Department of Vocational Education and Further Education at the Faculty of Education at the University of Erfurt. He has been a member of the Faculty Council of his faculty for about 20 years. We talked to him about his work on the faculty council. And about what he would like to implement for the university.
