Interdisciplinary workshop series: "A somewhat different archaeology of knowledge"

An interdisciplinary workshop series entitled "A somewhat different archaeology of knowledge" will start on Wednesday, October 21 at the University of Erfurt.

The event will be implemented as a digital format and will deal with questions and intertwined historical relationships between European and non-European cultures. A lecture, which will be followed by a discussion round, will be offered. The event is specifically aimed at students in advanced semesters, doctoral candidates* and postdocs from all disciplines of cultural and historical studies who wish to gain a deeper insight into the interdisciplinary research debates.

The first online workshop will take place on 21 October from 16 to 20 hrs. It is entitled „Buttermilch-Vernunft“ (an expression borrowed from Jalal al-Din Rumi) and is a cooperation with the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. The speaker is Dr. Yahya Kouroshi.

As places are limited, registration is requested by 16 October at eMail: Anahita.janebollahi_firozabadi@uni-erfurt.de. You will receive a confirmation immediately after receipt of your registration. The texts for reading will be sent to the participants after the registration deadline.
