These are the adventures of a left-handed hairdresser and sociologist in Halle an der Saale. Her tools are scissors, a comb and an eye for detail. In various salons, she styles the heads of Halle's residents and gets to the bottom of everyday life in these places. She reports on people, things, the city and experiences a small metamorphosis herself: without knowing exactly when it began, she notices how she increasingly perceives the world through the eyes of a hairdresser.
